Come and experience argentine music, dance, art and food in the beautiful surroundings at Fredriksten Festning (Fortress) at Halden !! The famous argentine artist Norberto Iera will exhibit many of his paintings in Halden. Sverre Indre Joner's Tango Trio will give a concert and accompany to dance at Fredriksten Kro at Halden from 20 PM. (Sverre Indre Joner - piano, Ole Amund Gjersvik: bass, Andreas Rokseth: bandoneon)

Julio Mariño and Mirabai at Cosmopolite June 9th
This dance couple from Buenos Aires has been touring the world since 2005 and now for the first time in Norway at Cosmopolite. This popular couple is already well known for those of us who visited Buenos Aires on this years Easter trip. Julio and Mirabai will give a dance performance at the milonga and will give tango workshops and private lessons during their stay in Oslo from June 9th to 14th.

Trio Cuesta Arriba at Cosmopolite June 9th

This famous argentine trio is on its 7th tour of Europe. They will give a concert at our Milonga and then accompany the dancers. They play classical tango, as well as modern interpretations and their own compositions.

We are proud to welcome Los Tauras to our milonga in Oslo. Created in 1995 by Carlos Quilici, Los Tauras play tangos of all times and own compositions. The arrangements are mostly by Quilici, and are balanced between traditional and avant-garde tango, respecting the melodies with a rhythmical strength.
Den anerkjente argentinske Tangokvintetten har spilt sammen siden 1995. De spiller et repertoar godt egnet til dans, med egne arrangement og komposisjoner. Musikken balanserer mellom tradisjonell og avant-garde tango, med en særegen rytmisk styrke.

Los Tauras will again visit our milonga in Oslo. Created in 1995 by Carlos Quilici at the School of Music of the National University of Rosario (Argentina). Most of the repertoire of the group is for dancing. It includes tangos of all times and own compositions. The arrangements and adaptations belong generally to Carlos Quilici. These propose a balance between traditional and avant-garde tango, respecting the original melodies and imprinting a pointed out rhythmical strength.

COLOR Tango til Oslo 5 juni 2007 !!
Verdens
mest kjente tangoorkester og desidert det mest populære, er på Europa-turné og vil spille på
vår milonga på Cosmopolite den 5.juni.
Color Tango er kjent for sine rytmiske tolkninger av Pugliese og musikken er godt dansbar. Orkesteret gjestet gamle Cosmopolite i 1995 og har siden den gang reist verden rundt og det 8 mannsorkesteret har gitt ut 11 CDer.
Sett av kvelden! Det blir dans,oppvisning og sommerfest !

Pablo Ziegler is the most important interpret of Tango Nuevo nowadays. He continues the legacy of Astor Piazzolla, with whom he worked for more then 12 years. He is the primary force driving innovative tango music forth. Furthering the developments of Piazzolla´s New Tango movement, Ziegler continues to break free from the strong traditions and stylistic limitations of tango, developing his own emphatic musical style.
